Eligibility and screening

Eligibility for IV nutrient therapy is determined by a licensed clinician after reviewing your medical history, current medication and clinical presentation. We may decline a booking, and we will. IV therapy is generally not appropriate during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with kidney impairment or dialysis, congestive heart failure, uncontrolled hypertension, G6PD deficiency, haemochromatosis or other iron-overload conditions, active infection or fever, known allergy to a formulation component, or those undergoing chemotherapy or immunosuppressive therapy.

Risks

As with any intravenous procedure, possible effects include discomfort or bruising at the cannula site, a cool sensation along the vein, a transient metallic taste, light-headedness, and — rarely — infection, phlebitis or allergic reaction. Your nurse monitors you throughout the session and the supervising physician is on call. Seek immediate medical attention if you develop breathing difficulty, chest pain, severe swelling or fever after a session.

We do not publish invented testimonials, purchased ratings or stock before-and-after photography presented as client outcomes. Where a client experience appears, it is real and consented. Photography used for illustration is identified as illustrative.
